Buy heart shape – certified heart shape diamonds

Buy heart shape diamonds

The heart shape is a brilliant cut with a cleft at the top and a point at the bottom – technically a pear with a notch. Here you find every heart in our stock with a laboratory report.

More about this cut

The report says "Heart Brilliant" or "Heart Modified Brilliant"; 56 to 58 facets are usual. For the shape to read as a heart, the length-to-width ratio should be close to 1.00 (0.90–1.10) and the stone should not be too small – from about 0.50 ct the outline is clearly recognisable.

What to look at: the two lobes must be equally high and equally round, the cleft distinct, the point centred – symmetry "Excellent" or "Very Good". The point is protected by a prong in the setting. There is no GIA cut grade.

The listing below shows hearts only. Every report number can be verified with the laboratory.

How to buy a certified diamond at STIG International

At STIG International you buy natural diamonds with an independent laboratory report directly online: choose the stone in the listing, verify its report number with the laboratory, pay via Stripe or bank transfer and receive it insured with the original certificate.

Choosing the stone

Every diamond in the listing is a specific, individual stone with its own report number – no placeholder, no sample goods. With the configurator you narrow the stock by cut (round brilliant, princess, emerald, pear, marquise, cushion, oval), carat, colour, clarity, cut grade, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, laboratory and price. Carat is a unit of weight: 1 ct = 0.2 g. Colour is graded from D (colourless) to Z, clarity from FL (flawless) to I3.

The stone's page shows every value exactly as it appears on the report, plus a 3D model of the cut. The price is in US dollars and includes insured shipping.

Verifying the report

Every stone carries a report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The report number on the stone's page links straight to GIA Report Check, which shows the laboratory's original data. Compare weight, colour, clarity and measurements with ours before you buy. The report number is usually also laser-inscribed, microscopically small, on the girdle.

Paying

In the shop you pay via Stripe by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or SEPA direct debit; card details are entered at Stripe only and never reach our servers. Bank transfer is available by arrangement. The stone is reserved for you while you pay.

Shipping and handover

The stone is shipped insured with a specialised courier, usually within 7 to 14 working days, and handed over only against proof of identity. The laboratory's original certificate is enclosed. On request you can also view stones at our office in Dubai. We clarify with you before the purchase which import charges apply in your country.

Withdrawal

Consumers in the EU have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the stone. We do not offer voluntary returns beyond that. Details are in the cancellation policy and the terms and conditions.

What you can hold us to

STIG International Gemstone FZCO DMCC is registered in the DMCC commercial register in Dubai (DMCC-1007195) and trades under its compliance, KYC and anti-money-laundering rules. We source only diamonds whose origin is documented under the Kimberley Process, and we work with the law firm Kayrouz & Associates for escrow. More on the certifications page. We are a dealer, not an investment adviser: we sell a physical product and make no statements about price developments.

Certified origin, verifiable quality

A natural diamond is a physical product that is passed on across generations. Whoever buys one should know where it comes from and what it is: we deal exclusively in natural, untreated stones whose origin is documented under the Kimberley Process and whose quality an independent laboratory has established.

Every stone in this overview has been pre-qualified by us: natural, untreated, conflict-free and graded by one of the three leading laboratories. The report number takes you straight to the original at the institute — check for yourself before you talk to us.

The stone first, the setting later

To give a diamond is to give something that stays. Whether as a loose stone in a sealed blister or set later into a ring, a necklace or earrings — the decision about the setting can wait; the one about the stone cannot.

Choose the stone first. For the setting we accompany you and work with goldsmiths we have known for years.

How to judge a diamond

The four Cs — carat, colour, clarity, cut — are the beginning, not the end. A high-grade stone must also be untreated, have documented fluorescence and reach at least “Very Good” in polish and symmetry. The fifth C, the certificate, makes all of it verifiable.

That is why we show every value exactly as it appears on the report — and link the report.

What to expect from STIG

We deal exclusively in natural, certified diamonds from 0.30 ct. Every stone carries a report from the GIA (Gemological Institute of America); the report number is linked in the shop and can be checked at the institute in seconds.

Stones can be viewed at our office in Dubai or sent to you under insurance for inspection. The price you see is the price.
